Ford duratorq questions, puma engine

Hi all,

I need some technical help regarding the ford puma engine range.

My engine is from a 2006 transit 2.2 tdci and is dead.

So what I need to know is what is the difference between the transit 2.2 and the mondeo 2.2. I am only interested in the bottom end in both model's.

Will the crank and pistons fit from the mondeo into the transit?
Are the con rods the same?

Has anyone tried this?
