finding owner

my own fault because i never put the "it's my space" pole up and some cheaky sod has parked in the space.
is there anyway in finding out who the owner is and politly telling them to get the f*** out of my space. I have reg number.

I rent it, it belongs to a flat near the station.

Pain in the bum when that happens. Might be worth getting one of those pillars which you come out of the ground orpark behind the car with your telephone number visible for them

It's an offence to block a vehicle from entering the carriageway, so parking behind it is only likely to cause you more misery if they call 101 and get your car removed.

Nothing you can do but find somewhere else to park, remember to put your post up and perhaps leave a note to remind them it's a private space.
