Car Review - The Second Attempt!

Hi all,

Following an enormous wave of positive responses and constructive criticism regarding my first Ford Taurus review a few weeks ago, I thought I'd share my next attempt to see what you guys think (I won't post any further videos, I promise!)

I took what you all said to heart last time and this is my second go at it. Hopefully I can only get better from here. I'd like to do more in depth reviews soon rather than just 'entertaining' stuff. There was supposed to be a lot more technical info on the car in the video, but a certain microphone ruined the audio for the footage beyond repair.

Thank you all so much for all your input on the last video. Please let me know your thoughts.

Bet it was good fun to make! Good review!

Just level out the audio a bit.

Music too high at the beginning. About right volume at the end.
Your voice - right volume in many places - too quiet in others.

I'm sure you can fix that within an hour

Still a couple of "Clarksonesque" moments - which I'm sure others will comment on.

Interesting to watch and enjoyed it.

It really was! I have a bunch of blooper reel to boot. The company who owns is said that if I picked it up for them at the servicing dealership, I could have it for the weekend. It really is a brilliant little car. Funnily enough, I was never short for charge. It was reliable.

Thanks! The audio was a nightmare because a lot of it was recorded on different mics. I'm going to have to work on it, maybe reupload. It's one thing I need to get better at.

Clarksonisms was the main criticism last time. I'm dialling it back, I promise!

That was pretty good. I didn't see your first video but I found that fun. As a local Leicester based member (also used to live next to Loughborough campus) I was enjoying spottong places I know to boot.

Thanks! Loughborough is a wonderful place. I take it you're not too far away still?
The first video was just a tongue-in-cheek review of my American girlfriend's Ford Taurus. A lot of people on here liked it but said I was trying to be too much like Clarkson. I guess years of drip-fed TG coloured my view on what a good car review should be!
