I've purchased a fantastic little W reg 1.0 yaris for my winter shed and need to collect an ebay purchase tomorrow.

The rear seats fold forward and actually make quite a large space but there will be me and another in the car at the time.

Does anyone happen to know if a road bike will fit in, with the front wheel removed while leaving both front seats in their normalish position? Ideally while staying upright however this is not essential.

Most cars with folding rear seats will. I'm always surprised how much i can get into my 197.
I find that removing thr saddle makes it easier to maneuver my bike in/out

I have a MINI and my road bike fits in that with the rear seats folded, a Yaris should be positively palatial.

I had a Fiat Punto years ago and the bike would fit upright in the boot with the wheels removed and the rear seats still in their upright position. Yaris shouldn't be too different.

Sounds like it should do the job then, its normal to have a bike worth more than your car right?

Mountainbike will fit in just about any supermini with the back seats folded down and the front wheel removed.

My 2000 reg polo fits a road or mountain bike in the back with the seats down, its a squeeze though.

Much less hassle to buy a bike rack from ebay for £20

I got a tandem in polo with both wheels removed - the seller was amazed when I turned up with a "little" car and then was even more amazed when it went straight in with the wheels removed.
