A challenge.

More than 4 cylinders. Forced induction, preferably turbo.

Not front wheel drive (sorry)

Four wheel drive ok..

Number of seats unimportant.

Manual gearbox.

And the kicker.. sub 5k..

Can it be done?

All I can think of is 300zx and possibly pre-modded fox body mustang or firebird?

Already have a 944. Non turbo though.

I guess there's there x300 xjr, I'm sure that they made a couple of manuals, literally only a couple though.

Is there an audi I'm missing? Sub s2..?

Best I can come up with are old supercharged jags. S-type R and XJR

Kompressor Mercs could be an option, but I think they are all 4 cylinder.

Pretty sure the old coupe Quattro had a 5 cylinder engine (as did original quattro)

Finding one might be challenging and I am not sure if they would be "classics"now with prices to match!

Yes, failing the four cyl test like the RX8 unless you can get one where a RV8 or chevvy had been dropped in.
