Has to be reliable and decent on fuel as will be a daily driver. I have just come from a bmw 335i that had lots of issues.

Depends on what sort of car you're after. If you want something Germanic, coming from a 335i, then any of the VAG hothatches like the Golf GTi. Personally I've been looking at Renaultsport Megane 250/265 as I prefer something a little more hardcore.

Fiesta ST? Or is that too small?

no, popped today as an advert posted in the last 24hrs, I had one in the past replacing a E46 M3, great hot hatch and never missed a beat.

(I have a standing search for 3lr and over rwd and manual - looking for a zm4 next.)

Focus ST. New shape should squeeze into that, or a new Fiesta ST.

Mk6 Golf R?

Octavia VRS.

The budget you have means you can decide what you want. Any specific criteria?

Surely it's more important that it goes well and drives well rather than where it's built?

I would love a e46 m3 but its not really a daily driver and the fuel and maintenance. I would take a nice 130 tho for the right price

Ah yes... the BMW mini hot-hearse.
Not the design department's greatest moment imo.

That is an absolute steal! Suspiciously cheap though?

priced to sell at this time of year, a pre-facelift car so a bit more on fuel but nicer hydraulic steering and no stop start. Probably a bit more than we buy any car would offer but a good price.

You will struggle to get a good mileage mk6 golf R for under 20k not to mention 15k

OP I'd be looking at a megane 250/265 for that kind of money
