After a station and dog slag that's not boring.
I'm drawn towards the panda 100hp. What about a micra 160. They are incredibly cheap. Not many about though. Anyone with experience of them typical micra reliability? Fond memories of my first car (k11)
I nearly pulled the trigger on a billy b
ks basic sandero. But ultimately to dull and I know I'd regret it.

ex Wife has a Micra 160SR. Think we bought it in 2007 and it was 9 months old with about 8K on the clock. She still has it and it now has about 110K on the clock. Nothing serious has gone wrong with it in that time despite a pretty minimal maintenance routine. It's a real hoot to drive with surprising go due to light weight, and nobody expects a Micra to be making good progress. I seem to recall that the tyres are a slightly odd size, 185/50 R15 or something, and when I was still buying them you were a bit limited on decent options. I think she snapped the exhaust on a rock recently, and the rear tailgate lock has gone funny (french electrics) but it still runs and goes as well as ever. She even gets very good fuel economy from it.I'm drawn towards the panda 100hp. What about a micra 160. They are incredibly cheap. Not many about though. I see from another thread that you bought one - how are you getting on with it?
Pretty much your experience. It's brilliant fun for what it is. Very rev friendly engine. Inspires very little confidence in the corners but gets you round them. The seats are comical and throw you all over the place. Driving it like I stole it 35mpg. Loads of space with the seats pushed forward for the hound. I'll be amazed if it's not quicker than ten to sixty. Certainly feels it.
Only real negative is people have pulled out on me quite a bit.
First thoughts are that you wont get much dog in either a Panda or Micra.. Perfect station cars (and the Panda is a good fun little car by all accounts) but hardly the sort of thing you would think to buy for transporting a dog or two unless you want to be constantly putting the seats up and down all the time.
If the dog isn't all that important, have a look at a Suzuki Ignis Sport. Similar size to the Panda and just as much fun. Same goes for a Yaris T-sport.
Edit -
Ignore that OP.. didn't really read the rest of the thread.. Still good suggestions for anyone else though

Yeah I was surprised by the 10 seconds to 60 stat, it certainly does feel a bit quicker than that. Hope you get on well with it!It's brilliant fun for what it is. Very rev friendly engine.
