My thoughts exactly. Should get a very good one for that price too. Estoril Blue, maybe Interlagos Blue or Imola Red at a push. Or Daytona Violet with cream leather but they're like Hen's Teeth.

I'd be on the hunt for an E39 M5. Bound to start increasing in value soon.

Coupe/hatchback. Same thing almost. smile

Would a E9x 330i Saloon or even a 335i be in that range?

BMW can call it a "coupe" all they like but that wont change the fact it's just a two-door saloon.

Thought it was quite obvious by asking about saloon or hatchback cars the OP wanted more than 2 doors. Unless I am the one that is mistaken.

Subaru Impreza STI widetrack, with the PPP. That's a lot of fun for about 9 grand.
Downside is the quality feel of the car is very 90s

B6 / B7 S4. Make sure you choose the auto, as the manual gearbox ruins the car (IMO, the B6 is significantly nicer than the B7, which is a little too styled and blinged).
