has a new car.

I'm in two minds about this guy.
One I think it's good that lots of kids are getting to see one off / unique cars on youtube with one click of the mouse without standing beside a road waiting all day.
Another part is thinking who the hell cares. I got a set of car mats last week but i didn't make a youtube video about them.
But I guess the guy likes to be noticed.
I'm guessing it was either reasonably priced with 29k miles. Or the guy gets a good lease deal parading McLarens on youtube for a year. I mean the depreciation in one year on one of these must be high

2,900 miles
It is obvious he is doing something he loves, sharing it on YT and by all accounts earns enough from that and his Supercar Kids business to run genuine super cars.
He seems to receive invites to motoring events around the world, is offered the chance to drive or passenger in some insane machines and he has taken full advantage of this recent "spotting" craze.
Fair play, I say.
I confess to having had email contact with him in past, and he's been nothing but pleasant, polite and helpful.
If it were me, the only downside of sharing would be the hoards of fans chasing after me. Works for some, not for me.
Shmee is also a PHer, too.

His car is the front of his business, and people (myself included) are interested in following the life of a supercar owner. That's why he's made it a big thing and why people watch it.
He has a lot of sponsors and I imagine this is another sponsorship deal, but who cares, he produces some interesting videos and I don't have to pay for them, and he's having the time of his life doing what he enjoys.
I'm not so much of a fan of the whole spotting scene and running around central London with a handycam, or the 'high class' modding scene featuring garish modified Ferraris with chrome wraps, but he gets to poke around some rare metal I only get to see in video games.
Have to say I was a wee bit disappointed it wasn't something other than McLaren, but he has shown genuine enthusiasm for the brand over the last year so I'm not surprised.

Fair play, he does look genuinely excited about the whole affair.
I don't get this whole supercar spotting b
ks but he seems to have done well out of it. It would be naive to suggest that it's all from YouTube though, seems to have had a good start in life
