How do you clean your convertible? (for lazy people)
Discussion
Hi all
I've had my Boxster for about 5 months now, and am using it every day for the slog to work - which means it gets dirty pretty quickly. Cleaning it is fine, but frankly I'm a lazy b*stard and am wondering whether others have gone down the valeting route and if so how much it is likely to cost. From what I can see, a 'standard' valet starts at about £40 from one of the mobile services, but I suspect this varies quite a bit (upwards...) and I'm not sure it's worth spending so much when the car needs cleaning every 3 weeks or so.
The alternative is the eastern europeans at the local hand car wash who charge £6 including having the sills cleaned - great value, but I'm not sure my roof will take the pressure washing!
How does everyone else here do it?

With the abundance of 'hand car washes' that seem to be about lately, you'll be bound to find good and bad ones. There is one in particular by me that does a very good job indeed for the princely sum of £12, in and out, using a good pre and post wash process and doesn't spray silicon crap everywhere.
