Unusual Issue with tyre!

Glass probably started it, then centrifugal force continued to tear the flap away.

Sharp stone (flint) or possibly broken bottom of glass bottle sliced it ?

Though the tyre eating slug sounds more interesting

Looks like it had eaten all the tread so started on the sidewall.
