Evening,

Looking to invest in a new family wagon. Needs to be diesel due to the milage I do a year. And an estate.

Got a budget of around 9-10k. Max mileage is about 90k. Decent amount of poke and decent drive with some decent handling. Needs to have some decent looks too (I know beauty can be the eye of the beholder)

Mk4 mondeo ideally titanium x spec
Audi a4 avant b8 s line/ or se technik (with sat nav is it?)
Audi a4 avant b7 sline
Audi a6 avant
BMW 320d estate m sport
BMW 520d estate m sport

Outside thinking...
Passat estate
Alfa 159 sport wagon
Volvo v50 r design

Any ph'ers got any of these? Any other recommendations?

Could probably get a quite new MG6 DTi for that?! Not sure.

Highly underrated cars with decent handling.

That will depreciate quicker than a hookers knickers when shown a £20 note.

It probably would depreciate more than an equivalent Audi or BMW but you could probably get a newer (still in warranty) or more highly specced car.

I guess it depends on how the OP would finance the car? Is it a keeper on 5 year finance or an outright cash purchase?

It would be in finance over a 5 year plan. The mondeo looks tempting with its generous levels of kit

Have looked at them on auto trader. Do look great in blue! Good cars though and good to drive? They got plenty of space?

Mondeo tit x sport.
I've got the estate. Great car all round I reckon. 175-200bhp for the 2.2 diesel

What age is that?

They do look cavernous. Prefer the look of estates over saloons these days

Have a look at the Subaru Outback. Had one for four years and one of the best cars I've ever owned. Only replaced it with a 4.8i X5.

Hmmm seen a few older 330d's within budget. Looks tempting. Mostly auto though

What should I be looking to get from a garage for my car?
It's a BMW 120D M Sport Coupe. 09 plate, 68k on clock with Bluetooth, reversing sensors and part leather?
