Driving in Dubai and Ferrari world

Hi All

Just about to leave Dubai and thank feic for that. A few things have puzzled me out here, first one being are the cars out here fitted with alarms every time they go over speed limit as yesterday went I took taxi to Ferrari world and the car beeped solidly for an hour and a half. Also I wished I had asked about Ferrari world because if you are over the age of 6 it isn't the place for petrol head, I spent an hour in the place then came home, not felt so let down since 'The Simpsons' movie. Also the driving out here is some of the worst I have ever seen in my life. Anyone else made the Ferrari world mistake?

All cars in the UAE have speed limit warnings at 120kph. If you drive above this is beeps at regular intervals. I learned to ignore it after a while as most of the traffic on the Dubai to Abu Dhabi mroad oves at around 140kph.

On the last leg of honeymoon, mrs wanted to go shopping so thought if give Ferrari world a go. The building is UNBELIEVEABLE but they have filled it with nothing and I mean absolutely nothing. The whole beeping thing just wrecked my head which was already fuming at the wasted day...live and learn I suppose:-)
