Maxxis VS01 Victra Sport tyres

Anyone used them, seem to be a new tyre which they claim to be ultra high performance, lifetime guarantee against punctures etc as well..

Thoughts?

Why? Maxxis are a pretty decent mid range tyre. Big in the Jap drift scene and do bike and truck tyres too.

I have maxxis tyres on my new-to-me yamaha fz1 motorcycle. I wasnt sure at first given their "budget" label but on a cold and damp ride home from the dealership I didnt wind up dead in a hedge. Infact, I made it home in one peice, and then went out again later the same day.

I thought they were a mid range tyre and a couple of friends have recommended them to me, having used them on Imprezas/Evo's.

maxxis used to be the dogs danglys when i used to do amateur quadbike racing.

Because usually on here if anyone suggests not buying anything but the best premium brands is told they will crash a and die in a ball of fire before they even get off their drive!!
