So I sold me van, wasn't using it and although my no-claims will last a year it might be handy to have a total pile of crap sitting on the drive for those odd occasions when my better half has my car.

Since it doesn't need to be good, reliable or sensible I was wondering if this was an opportunity to buy something a little bit interesting/silly.

A sensible person would buy a Fiesta or similar shopping car, but a quick look on ebay locally bought up a few local silly cars at stupid prices...

Jaguar XJ6 with almost 200K miles
Toyota Prelude with 85K miles and a "clonk" for £250
Peugeot 206CC no service history and 115Kmiles for £350
Jag S-Type (some "issues" but a runner) £200!
Mk1 Eunos import resprayed badly, at auction but only £400 so far... Hmm
1994 LR Discovery with "bodywork condition typical of its age" for £250
Original MK2 VW Scirocco

Any suggestions of other stupid buys?

GO and take a look at the Toyota Prelude biggrin

(Seriously though preludes are pretty good as coupes come, quite quick and cheap enough to run)
