Has anyone been caught speeding en route to...?
Discussion
No but I did get caught on my way to a Comp Safari event many years ago. At sign in you had to produce your RAC MSA licence and valid driving licence. I produced the first and then with a level of sheepishness produced a receipt from Dorset Police which was less the 45 minutes old. I was only doing 74 mph but did have a trailer attached to the back of the Land Rover and it was uphill.

No, but I did contemplate turning up late to mine, just to prove a point!
What point would that be? That punctuality isn't your strong point? No however a similar story...
My step-father attended a speed awareness course. During the course he began speaking with a guy who was from somewhere Northern however was down this way as he had a contracting position due to start the next day and thought therefore it'd be sensible to book it here.
He explained that normally it'd take him three or so hours however he managed it in two and a half this time as he was running a bit late.
Made me chuckle.
