Those are a bit on the small side for 7 seaters, the Carens we keep looking at as a 5 seater, which then led to the Sedona, then back to the Carens, then onto a Picasso then a CMAX/SMAX, then something else...
we dont need 7 or really 5 seats, just extra boot room but having something that you sit a little higher up in would be good as well, so estates dont really work the same as some MPVs

I would have thought a Ford Galaxy, would your best bet, for your budget though, it's going to be a choice between age or mileage. Buy on condition not mileage.
There are plenty of Zafira's about but the automatic criteria, really limits your choice.
If the 7 seats aren't a necessity, other considerations would be a Renault Scenic, Ford Focus C-Max, Citroën Xsara Picasso and you might be able to find a Citroën C4 Grand Picasso but it will be high mileage.

I have owned a Zafira 1.8 Auto for a brief time and I have to say although uninspiring it was a very competent car. Also its really useful with the rear seats down, in terms of space.
Now saying this I found the car to be slightly tinny and also it didn't feel (subjective) as robust as I had hoped. Its built to a price.
Looking at it from the rear with the last row of seats upright there didn't seem to be a lot of protection for the rear most passengers in the event of a impact.
All in all the car was reliable, cheap to repair and competent.
We changed this for VW Sharan and to be honest this was a big step up. driving position was higher and the car felt solid and dependable. However it stil wasn't without its issues. On whole we did love the VW Sharan, with its heated seats, screen and leather upholstery. It was an excellent family car and also doubled up as a tow vehicle for my Track bike.
The Sharan also shrugged off an attempted theft and being smacked hard in the rear. It was a very good car, however I was always waiting for the autobox to fail.
I would be interested in the Honda... looks to be a decent machine, however I haven't owned one.

Mate, you seem to be thrashing round between different criteria and not really answering the questions other posters are asking you.
If you need a proper 7 seater capable of carrying kids over 7 yo in the rearmost row for any distance, you need something like a Galaxy or Sharan. These are not significantly bigger than the other cars you are looking at (maybe 20cms longer) but will have significantly more leg-room.
On your budget, any car will carry some risk of repair bills. I would go with something well-known where spare parts will be easy to get hold of and plenty of back-street mechanics know how to fix them. For me that spells Ford Galaxy.
Old Discoverys are bogger than the Galaxy and less relaible. Those at that price with the autobox will be glacially slow and expensive to fuel and run.
That Honda Stream looks ok if the sales blurb is correct (FSH doesn't mean a lot sometimes) but not many were imported so it may be expensive to insure as replacement body panels etc would have to be shipped from Japan. If you're only going TPFT then this probably won't be an issue. However, they are quite narrow so check that the 7 people you want to transport will actually fit.

Thanks for the reply.
My parents and in laws keep coming over and with 2kids we need a 7 seater.
We were really looking at kia caren, toyata verso, zafira.
Zafira autobox was good and wife did not like the looks and the drive.
Kia caren hard to find post 2007 in my budget with low milegae.
toyata verso of 2004-2009 were semiauto and loads of issues on those gearboxes.
Galaxy and sharan she found too big..

Hello mate - I'm going to ask the same question as I did earlier ... why is mileage an issue? My parents and in laws keep coming over and with 2kids we need a 7 seater.

Also once you've driven one for a while a Galaxy/Sharan/Alhambra won't feel that big. You get used to the size fairly quickly and they are cheaper used

She WILL get used to the extra length /snigger/
You NEED a proper 7 seater, not a 5+2. We tried to manage with a Toyota Verso and getting ouy 5 y/o in and out of the back was a PITA. We then had an older shape petrol Galaxy and that was great as the seats come out completely so you can configure it with a middle walk through space and everyone is super comfy. We've since upgraded to a mk3 Galaxy and that's not quite so versatile in terms of space but it's much nicer to drive.
Anyway. Go look for a Sharan/Galaxy/Alhambra and buy the best condition you can find for your budget. Dead easy to find with front and rear parking sensors so that's a doddle. Also make absolutely sure the air con works as if it doesn't they are like greenhouses and get bloody hot in the summer. AC failure is common on these...I got quoted £500 to replace a condensor as the whole front bumper has to come off.
They are a bit boring but they work great as family buses.
