Thought this might be of interest to some -

"Know your enemy: Incredibly, there are 20 different kinds of cameras spying on motorists - spot them before they spot you!"

Soooo, if you're going to commit a crime, even though Big Brother is watching you, employ a getaway driver in his 80s who will drive at 25mph everywhere.

There's quite a few that seem to work via pressure sensors in the road - unsure how many/how often they're "in-use" but seems like an easy way of being caught out.

Yes - never heard of them being linked to police vehicles though. The comments on that article make me feel ill. So many mentally limited people.

And another:

Yesterday, DM readers were frothing at the mouth about a guy who drove 60 through a 30 zone and killed a young girl. Today, those same readers seem to applaud speeding.

Everybody knows martial arts is very significant when talking about driving. All the best drivers are black belts in one form or another. Lewis Halmilton is a 2nd Dan in Egoitsu and Mansell was a grand master in Moustachido.

Typical Daily Mail!
All newspapers use articles such as this to pull in more readers, as a Piston Header, my attention is often grabbed, by articles related to cars, roads, motoring etc regardless of which paper it is in.
Having read through some of the replies there, it would seem that most are
of the type which might be expected from those who visit this forum.
If you want to read a hypocritical car/motoring hating paper, try having a look at the Guardian.
It really is a class act, with articles in the environmental section, berating those who have the temerity to use any form of transport which uses fossil fuels, and yet right next door to it, in their travel section, they have articles exhorting people to travel to Hong Kong by jet, to `try the meat balls' in a particular floating restaurant.
Like all papers they are in the business of making money out of delivering `their' version of the news to the general public.

Someone should advise the Daily Mail that they exist north of Northamptonshire too.

Oh, come now, you're selling the guy short - he's not just a prick, he's a lovingly crafted, lavishly tooled, magnificently appointed, 24carat prick.

Well he's got that right, he's certainly not average, he's clearly to the very far right of the bell-end bell-curve.
