They made this mistake before. Think it's the grit holder on the site that holds 4000 tonnes and the gritters get their loads from it.

Armaghman.

I had to rewind it to check.

With all that on board there would be no snow anywhere.

Would 4 tons be nearer the mark?

Some pillock on BBC news last week said that the figures showing average wage increases ahead of annual inflation "means that most people are better off in real terms" yeah right - cos average=most

Judging by the amount on the windscreen/panels/arches/sills of my van at the moment I quite believe it....

You might want to pick an easier battle (like achieving world peace) than teaching your average fktard the different sorts of average, or indeed anything even slightly challenging to grasp.

Journalists seem second only to politicians in the "knowing fk all about how to go about the job they are supposed to be doing" stakes.

Didn't she also say the depot hold 750,000 tons of grit?
I thought I had misheard.

And on the same topic do other countries have seasonally normal weather as a main headline across the media?

We rarely see reporters stood on a seafront on a pleasant spring day. Oh and let's not start on schools closing because teachers can't get in (but parents can apparently).

Happy winter everyone!
