Good experiences of tyres?

I had fun this morning in Herts. 3 inches of snow made some of my local roads impassible to summer tyred cars. It was joyous to steam by with next to no feelings of slipperiness. Frankly I love my all season balloon tyres. Am happy to forget sharp handling I favour of comfort and grip.
Anyone else? Today of all days I'd expect other similar stories!

Was all melted by the time I went to work . . . no problems at all. Continental 850s this year - better in the wet/slush than Nokian but not as good on dry roads. Both way better than Michelin summer tyres.
