What old luxury saloon with 3 proper rear seat belts?

Hi all,

I've been hankering for a Merc w140, or BMW E38, but am disappointed to discover neither has three 3-point seat belts in the rear. Can you suggest anything similar which does?

You may have to look at something a bit newer. I seem to recall older cars had lap belts in the centre seat, if they had belts at all.

Yeah, I thought as much. Perhaps I should rephrase the question then: "what's the oldest executive saloon with 3 proper seat belts in rear?"

I am reluctant to go too new with cars because of complexity when working on them.

At the bottom of that article it gives a website that will put a third in for you for £70. Seems good value.
