What's the best live traffic service or App?
Ones I've used in the past always seem 2 hours behind.

Google maps using the 'traffic' overlay is easily the best.

Just go to traffic England and look at the live traffic cams - can't get more accurate than that.

Tomtom live traffic if you're wanting a standalone device (much better for locations outside mobile coverage, the highlands, lake district, North York Moors etc).

Waze on the iPhone has traffic which works well, together with live reporting of hazards including cameras, road conditions, stationery vehicles etc.

I was a big fan of Waze but am getting disillusioned with it. It says my route to work is clear when it isn't and pretty much every morning the ETA is out by about 15/30 minutes for a 25 mile journey. I've added traffic (road turns red), popped into a shop and when I come out my alert is no longer live so it says everything is clear and it isn't.
