Too close for comfort

Was driving our lad to school this morning when a 5 Series BMW appeared in front of us, on our side of the road heading straight at us, combined speed around 80mph 
I just swerved out of its way, it then careered over the curb, down the grass verge onto a side road, it finally hit a parked car which brought it to a stop about 150yds from us.
The Police say it was an older gentleman & they think he had a heart attack, not sure if he'll make it
Thankfully he missed us, the car in front & a pedestrian & her kids. Needless to say, a 5 Series + trailer hitting my 172 wouldn't have been pretty, having our 11yr old lad on board really brought it home to me.
