What would you do??

Hope you can help me decide what to do, last Thursday I sent my mint 1991 Range Rover Classic to have a major service at a garage (I won't name as thus far they have been helpful), change oil and filters, change ATF and filter, 20k service and repair a drivers door catch that wouldn't work from outside and a few minor fettling bits.
Picked the car up Friday, paid the £540:00 bill, drove about 20 miles, car cut out, eventually restarted. Monday morning started to drive the 30 miles to the Land Rover specialist (recommended by PH posters)engine ran lumpy then cut out. The AA sent a Land Rover GB support mechanic out, he powered the coil direct which melted the wiring loom further. AA took the car back to the garage who replaced the melted wires and billed me £140:00 (not paid yet).
I collected the car last night, drove 20 of the 30 miles towards home, engine cut out, major smoke from under the bonnet, wiring loom glowing red hot, didn't have any tools to disconnect the battery, fire brigade attended, declared it safe; AA recovered the car back to the garage.
My question really is this; it seems too much of a coincidence for the electrical fault to occur on what was a perfectly running car when delivered to them for a service. I am now out £100 in taxis, plus it will cost me another £60 to get to the garage, do I pay the £140 bill for re-doing the electrics; I am assuming they won't be billing me for rectifying the original fault.
I have been massivly inconvenienced but want to do the right thing about the bill.
