Hi guys,

This is a long shot I know but is anyone able to identify the make / model of car from this picture?

Trying to get as much info as I can after a hit and run last night! (Police not interested)

It's a fairly distinctive colour so thought it worth a try..?

Any help appreciated.

Old guy down the road from me has a nissan micra in a similar colour.

Really is a long shot trying to figure out the car from that. You'd be best just keeping your eyes open for any local cars of a similar colour with damage.

Looks like MG's Aquamarine Green, or Goodwood Green.

Hope you find them.

It wouldn't surprise me if someone here knows the paint code, who the manufacturer is and what model it was applied to.

Its a very bizarre place but an absolute fountain of random knowledge.

Any codes or stamps on the "inside" face?

(Edit) What sort of size is it? Can't get a scale off the photo.

I had a MK5 Fiesta Zetec in that sort of colour, hard to tell from the picture but was very close, worth considering.

My first thought is a Rover (MG) colour.

Looks like the green that the MK2 (I think it was) Mondeo came in. I think they used it on the Puma too

This is going swimmingly.

The suspect car is definitely an MG, VW or Ford. Probably.

If that is supposed to be a white background, the colour balance is all wrong, so it widens the possibilities. Jaguar Racing Green is another contender if it's just a tad greener than in the picture.

Mk1 Mondeo Cayman Blue.

Their bumpers will be soo brittle by now, they'll be leaving bits of them everywhere.

Was the Puma colour metallic though? This looks a lot more sparkly than the odd one I've seen.

If I had to choose I'd put myself in the MG camp.

I'd say a green Mk2 Mondeo Verona.

Well it's not a Landrover Defender. Or a Caterham. That narrows it down a bit.
