PCP on used cars?

Just a musing really after looking in the best lease deals thread.

I know it's the done thing on new cars but just got me wondering, do dealers offer PCP with a guaranteed future value on used cars? I've only ever seen HP for full amount offered on the various classified ads you see and is not something i've ever asked about. I've never seen it advertised either.

Just interested really as to if it is actually a thing but I'm sure there'll be more to it than a simple yes/no as with any sort of finance.

Yes they do, I've had PCP agreements on used cars before. You often get a worse finance rate than they offer against new vehicles however, so if you are looking at 'nearly new' it doesn't always work out cheaper, despite the reduced sticker price.
