Insurance query - NCB after few years without

Quick question as I can't find any up to date information. My partner and I share one car, as there is little need for us to need more at the moment (work from home). I currently insure the car using my full no claims; is there still a 2 year limit in which my partner must insure a vehicle in order to retain her full no claims? Do I literally have to keep swapping each year from my insurance to hers just to satisfy this? Wonder if my current insurer will allow me to switch into her name at renewal and use her NCB, rather than go through the hassle of starting again each time!

Yes, so switch every 2 yrs to keep both bonuses alive.

Thanks, I thought that maybe my partners insurance was cancelled prior to me taking out mine, but I've just checked and her no claims proof is dated 12th March 2014, so has until the 12th March 2016 I assume, and the insurance renewal is 6th March, so I can at least continue for another year, then switch, with just a week remaining! Hopefully that is ok?
