Left my mazda too long without starting it during cold weather and had to call the AA to get it started in the end. Ever since we got the car started, the radio screen has been fked up. It turns on and you can hear the radio but there is just loads of lines all over the screen. It's been like this for a couple of weeks. It's annoying because the clock, temperature, and AC controls all use the radio screen and it can't see anything apart from random lines frown. What could be the problem causing this? I was thinking maybe a lead could be loose or water could have got into the electrics.

Some car electric systems can be finicky when batteries are run low or disconnected.

I had a clock that would occasionally stick on 1 o' clock if the battery was disconnected for any reason and reconnected again. The way to make it work normally was to disconnect the battery yet again and then connect it back up.

If I were you I'd disconnect it for 5 minutes then reconnect in case this sorts it. For example, the low voltage may have caused part of the unit to crash, and it needs "turning off and on again" so it will reset itself. Even with the ignition turned off the screen controller might still have battery voltage to it.
