Hi, sorry never posted before, just hoping for some advice please.
A couple of weeks ago I bought a brand new corsa in metallic silver. When it arrived I noticdd a scuff to the plastic grill and paintwork on the bumper. I agreed to let the garage repair to 'as new' condition for a small refund and agreement that the bumper would be removed for a full respray and the grill replaced.
A week later I went to collect the car and noticed the chrome hadn't been replaced and was still damaged and also what looked like a chip to the paint, so left it for this to be rectified.
My query is that the garage told me that they'd just touched up the patches of damage then applied a full coat of laquar. Is this normal practice? Will the finish be ok? What should I look out for to accept the car?
I'm worried as have NO experience and just want my new car to look exactly like a new car!!
Thanks so much-any help appreciated

Should I insist on a full respray of the whole bumper? How will the patches age of not? Will a new coat of lacquer have adhered properly to the rest of the original paint and lacquer?
I'm just a bit upset and worried it won't look 'new' but repaired

yes its normal that they would apply colour over the repairs then clear coat the whole panel

Unfortunately they won't accept a rejection for cosmetic damage!
Thanks though, as long as repair is 'normal' at least I guess?
