Quick paint question.

My car has just been taken away for repairaafter being hit by a bus around a fortnight ago. It's a 2006 MK5 Golf R32 - the full extent of the damage is shown here, I was wondering how much of the car will they need to respray after fixing this damage?

As you can see there's the obvious dent with scuffing on the bumper also. Currently enjoying a 64 plate SEAT Leon TDI, although it's nice having a brand new car to smoke about in I am missing the V6. already!

That looks like a fairly trivial repair. I expect they will repair the bumper and pull the dent (with some filler if necessary) on the arch and then paint them both, blending them together a bit further 'inward' on the bumper and quarter panel.

My thoughts too. Something that a good SMART repairer should be able to do.

Possibly just the lighting, though I do suspect the O/S has had paint at some stage. Not in my ownership, however.
