Prompted by this story of the sad death of the Car Lady of Chiswick, a former concert pianist who lived for 26 years in a Ford Consul.

I "live" in my Escort van occasionally and it suits me. Has everything I need. Washing & cooking facilities and spare clothes.

Given unlimited definition of "car", I'd choose a Winnebago of some type.

I lived in a g reg cavalier sri for 6 days. It wasn't that bad tbh except the smell got up a bit despite showering every day at work.

With reference to the article,I read BITD that after the Ford was crushed, some of the residents had clubbed together to

buy her another car[a Mercedes 123 Estate I heard]....obviously complete fiction.

Sad.

I was thinking something similar with moveable seats so you can change the layout if you're having visitors.

Or a knackered Rolls to show you might be destitute but you still have standards.

An E34 5 Series Touring with the rear seats down and a mattress in the back. Oh, and I'd do this somewhere in the Canary Islands where it's always warm!

Do you mind if I ask what led to living in a cavalier for 6 days?
