Range Rover Evoque facelift for Geneva

More spangly headlight tech as 16MY Evoque is confirmed

The new Range Rover Evoque won't have laser headlights, a la Audi R8. Not even an option. What it will have, as you can see here, are LED headlights. The first Land Rover product to have fully adaptive LEDs, no less.

For now, as is the way with pre-show PR teases, we know very little about the Evoque facelift. Design director Gerry McGovern says that the styling refresh will "give it an even greater presence on the road yet retain the emotional appeal that has made it so popular." Expect as well a new engine line-up, plus tweaks to the interior and infotainment. All standard mid-life facelift fare, only Land Rover won't divulge everything just yet. Contain your excitement for just one more week though, as full details are due on the 23rd.

I was looking at these in the classifieds last week for the wife and was wandering if there was anything that could upset the rock-solid residuals on these. Even the earliest ones with hobo spec's are selling for not much less than the original entry price. There can't be many 'normal' cars that have offered those kind of residuals

The Evoque needs an arselift, not a facelift. HTH.

The rear end seems all out of proportion, heightwise.

Mid 2011 production started so almost 4 years, seems about right for a refresh!

I suppose this is useful to know if a PHers sister is thinking of spunking away a load of money into a lease deal on one of these.

If this was revealed at Geneva, will it be in production by September time?

With the used residuals you'd think the lease deals might be fairly cheap... but alas no.

By the end of the year they will have made well in excess of 500,000 Evoques. Some achievement for a small car maker.

why don't they make a fast version? Seems like a glaring omission to me.

You do see the irony in that ridiculous statement?

That is really impressive...and they must have done very well financially out of these.

I wonder how the sales break down by country.

Blimey, I'm amazed it's been that long! Still looks fresh in my eyes.
