Are these scam listings on eBay?

[Dinoboy]

Strange one, guys got 100% positive feedback and all looks above board other than the prices;
£8k for a tidy 911
£7k for an Interceptor
Escort Mexoco's haven't been that cheap for 10 years.

What do you think is the scam here, he says email with a phone number only.

Perhaps a hijacked account, all his feedback is for toy computers.

Yes.

Obvious scams are obvious.

Notice how many item he has for sale and they are all in different settings in the photos.

Likely a hacked ebay/paypal account.

--- edit ---

A closer look shows most of the photos are stolen from other listings.

However no way to report the account to ebay, only individual listing and no ability to add details.

The 911 is currently for sale at another site for £18,995. So yes, it is a scam.

So how does the scam work to benefit the hacker?
You email him saying you want to come round to see the car, what does he say?

[Martin4x4]

This is one of the biggest problems with ebay there is no way to report this and why it cannot be trusted for it's original purpose.

He'll simply ask for a deposit at one point before viewing.
People are excited because of the low price, and thus seamingly amazing deal, so they skip thinking straight.

His phone number is 07895 455946, if anyone wants to have some fun....

[Spare tyre]

All gone now!

[Dinoboy]

Be interesting to see how long before they reappear. This was the second time they were all listed, ebay really needs to be more on top of this.

Two vintage motorbikes and Yamaha ATV listed!

And now they gone...
