Sticking phone holder to dash LCD !

At about 2.20 the presenter half jokingly suggests sticking his phone holder to the cars sat nav screen. This would be the ideal mounting point for a tablet in my car but I would worry about damaging the cars LCD display, so I was just wondering if anybody here had done this or knows a bit about how robust in car screens tend to be.

Are they not plastic? I.e. don't stick anything to them.

The displays my fav thing about my car. try a Spider phone holder from eBay And Stick it through the vents

Nope, only displays music and or sat nav which my Nexus 7 would do better!

I wouldn't do something permanent as you may find it harder to sell on later. You can buy tablet holders that stick to the window in Halfords. (I mean they stick to the car windscreen not that you stick your tablet to the Halfords window.)
