Bit of a hypothetical situation at the mo, but it might be my scenario in a couple of months.

Zero regard for practicality. The only limiting factors are mpg and repair costs. No point paying 3 grand for a car and another 3 6 months down the line.

Any thoughts?

350Z is a good all rounder (edit seem to have missed MPG, my brain must automatically skip boring stuff like that - still 25MPG isn't bad). Not sure I'd regard a Westie a good all rounder even if they are a hoot!

Anyone think a larger car could be an equal laugh in its own right?

Loads of tech, decent power and torque....

probably worth pushing the budget due to it being limited to what 500 cars?

however if the 5k ones need the sachs shocks refreshing that'll blow the budget out the water, also budget £500 for a cambelt/dephaser change.

why do the bigger cars need more power/torque?

because there too lardy, go light weight for most occasions there more fun and they return better mpg
