Anyone else experienced problems with this product?

I used this product recently and it has caused my otherwise perfect alloys (factory fitted, 3 year old BMW M3's) to tarnish quite badly. On this occasion I did not wipe away overspray but according to Autoglym, this is silicone emulsion and therefore completely inert and should be unreactive to the metal or coating on alloys.

My view is Autoglym need to be much clearer with their guidance on this product.

Used it for years - no bother. I'd be very surprised if it could damage the wheels - it's very mild.
