SMART Car : Paint Advice

Not sure which forum this should be in...!!

Anyway, a friend asked me about his Smart car, the original 2 seater model (?).

I have not seen the car, so this is a bit 'secondhand'

The car has sustained some minor surface paint damage, on the front valance panel I think.

He has tried to use T-Cut to remove the deep marks, but they are still there.

I was going to suggest using something slightly more abrasive, but wanted some advice about this; is the panel colour all the way through the 'plastic' or do you treat it like any other car paint surface ?

The panels on the original models are not painted, they are coloured plastic unless they have been damaged/repaired later in life. Depending on the damage your friend may have to replace.

Thanks for the reply; just spoken to him today and he will have to get it done professionally, fortunately it is a 'solid' colour.
