help with finding Renault paint code please

Hopefully an easy one. Missus has hit a post and quite badly scratched her car. It will need paint but its down to metal in places so i want to apply some touch up just to keep corrosion at bay while we get quotes etc. I cant seem to find the paint code/name though.

We have all the docs, service books etc but havingan admittadly very quick look i struggled to see it.

Any ideas where I can find a code? if im to buy a touch up pen, may as well get the correct colour even if it will eventually be painted over anyway.

Its a 2005 Clio in silver.

Open the drivers door, on the sill there are 2 stickers, you need the one with an oval around it.
The paint code is the line with with the arrow. You want the last 3 characters. In the example below it is J41, I don't know why the first 2 letters are ignored.




Edit: Actually, you might need the first 2 characters.

It was an Oval Plate in my day. A proper piece of metal stamped with the info and held on by rivets. Stickers? Pish, kids these days with their fancy technology...

If it's down to bare metal make sure you use a galvanising primer before applying touch up paint.
