"In court, Weeks challenged the accuracy of the speed detection equipment, the competency of the operator and validity of the Notice.
He admitted to being the driver of the car but not to the excess speed. He claimed to have returned his final notice but admitted not signing it, saying he had heard it was a “loophole”.
...
Weeks then refused to give his income, so the fines could be means tested. His last quote to the bench was: “Go on. Do your worst.”
For the speeding offence he was fined £400 and given four penalty points. For failing to identify the driver he was fines £600 and given 6 penalty points.
He was also order[ed] to pay costs of £650 and a victim surcharge of £100."

So the RK used the name of someone who doesn't exist as the nominated driver and wasn't pursued to the full extent of the law?
He didn't, the NIP had the incorrect spelling of his name which he then tried to say meant he couldn't open the letter.
I still think this is the best one, his wife actually flew to Bulgaria to avoid the ticket - http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/europe/b...

See this is why maximum sentences are a bad idea. Imagine if the magistrate had been able to put on one of those little black cloth things before sentencing. Would have been great to see the idiots face For the speeding offence he was fined £400 and given four penalty points. For failing to identify the driver he was fines £600 and given 6 penalty points.

(j/k by the way. No chance the moron would have known what it meant.)

On another note, why is he driving with no hands?
Idiots all of you.
People don't act like that in court because they're stupid. They act like that because they are either upset or trying to make a point.
I suspect even he knew saying 'do your worst' wasn't going to go well.
Trouble is that showing a court disrespect is more important that the actual offence. Any guess what crime you could commit in a car and get less than than that?
I think you could TWOC plus race the local plod in a high street grand prix, and still get less punishment if you happened to be able to keep a lid on it in court.
