Rocket II Trike: Time For Tea?

Three-wheelers are on the PH mindset this week - here's one with a big V8...

"The English have always been a bit eccentric and it doesn't get any more eccentric than this." Well said Jay Leno, we can think of no better way to describe the Rocket Trike!

It's the creation of Tim Cotterill, a Brit in America known for being 'Frogman'. Watch the video for explanation of that. The car was built by the same people as Leno's famous Tank Car and certainly looks like a incredible feat of engineering. The important numbers are 1,000hp (or thereabouts), three automatic gears and 4mpg...

Amazingly enough Jay doesn't fancy a spin on this mad creation, instead leaving it to Tim to demonstrate just what it can do. Which is quite a lot, as you'll see. Well if a Morgan 3-Wheeler doesn't cut it...

Watch it here.

He reminds me of the guy that sells the X5 Wonder Steam Mop thingy on the early morning shopping commercials.

What a piece of art. Absolutely love this and I'm not usually a big fan of custom choppers/trikes.

Hopefully he'll get some proper switches though as that plastic tat looks terrible. Well you'd probably not notice it if it wasn't for the fact that rest looks so well machined.

I nearly deducted a point for being English and saying "al-oo-min-um"

Grrrrrrr.

But as soon as he started driving it, it's a perfect ten for me! Proper mental.
