Apologies for being cheeky but am after a valuation if possible please?

It's a 2006 (March I think) BMW 325i estate with 82,000 miles. Good condition. No optional extras.

£3 on their website.

ETA - I mean it costs £3 to get the valuation, not that you car is worth £3 :-)

CAP is more accurate.

Both only guides though.

Sir, just like your house - your car will be worth less than you think. As a dealer, we no longer use either Glass's or CAP. Common sense has always been the best guide, plus looking on all the sales sites at to what other people are asking for their, (overpriced), cars.
The secret phrase within the motor trade when it comes to valuing cars is "be realistic".

What does WBAC offer for it? Tends to be a good starting point.

Had a look on another popular selling site and one is selling for £5000, but this is a trade seller, with another selling for £5500.

Could you put the reg number in WBAC and see what it comes out with?

The dealer I worked for used to show punters "The Book", thing is he used to show them a different one depending on whether he was buying or selling, one being a lot newer than the other.

I've got a few valuations now and they differ considerably. I'm amazed at the range.

The cars for sale seem to vary a lot in price too. I guess it's worth what someone is willing to pay for it...
