Hi guys,

I have recently bought a used Bentley Continental GT Coupe, which is currently located in Suffolk. I'm located in Yorkshire. Does anyone here know of a good company that can collect and deliver the car to me? (perhaps on the back of a truck to keep mileage down!)

I would be grateful for suggestions. I so glad to be back on PH after a few years break...

I'd be straight on a train, and take the scenic route back. It's the weekend tomorrow.

Keep the mileage down on a 12 year old Bentley? Get over yourself and go and pick it up....

Road trip. yes

Make a weekend of it rather than a slog back up the motorway.

I bought a car off this guy "David Brothers" in Royston Cambridgeshire and he does car delivery on the back of a loader. He brought the car upto me in Yorkshire for inspection "http://www.davidbrotherscarsales.co.uk".

No idea on prices though I'm afraid.

Also on ebay - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vehicle-Recovery-and-Tra...

You guys don't think that if picking it up was an option he would have done it?

Picking up would be lovely, but it's 4 hours each way, minimum. With 2 kids in school and a wife in a full time job, I can't just "hoon off" to pick up my car. It's a full day away, it's not good use of time. Sorry to be a party pooper!

Got my first quote from Shiply £306, hope I can improve on that a bit!
