WHAT ARE THEY DOING WITH THIS EQUIPMENT ?

Not directly Aston Martin related, but it might be, if you drove your P & J along this road.

There are two camera looking objects, although they are pointing down onto the road. I don't think the downward pointing is because they are not working, because this has been in place for months, and I have seen similar roadside equipment elsewhere.

Do any of you know what this equipment is monitoring ?

In the first photograph, the road is visible behind the mast, but it is a dual carriageway, so the equipment is presumably watching the other carriageway ie. between my camera and the mast.

They look like speed cameras.

Could be ANPR cameras.
