Typically no, however some of the bargain basement companies do class it as a claim

Not affected in my experience. Ring Autoglass, they've been out 3 times to me in 4 months and aside from turning up with a scratched glass once, have otherwise been fantastic. Come out to work and do it in the car park. Thoroughly recommend.

From memory I think when I made a claim I lost that years no claims bonus. E.g. Started with 7 and ended with 7.

Even if it doesnt effect your NCB you are obliged to declare it for any future quotes from other companies.

What have you been doing to need 3 windscreens? I've had no replacements in 24 years of driving!

1 windscreen due to a stone chip, first one in 10 years of driving.
2 weeks later someone put their fist through a door window in Birmingham to steal...... a £15 hoody!
They came out to fix it and bought a scratched bit of glass so I rejected that, but managed to get them to replace another window at the same time which was heavily scratched when they came out to fix the other one.

So after 10 years of never needing anything done, had half the glass on the car replaced in under a month.

I went through 5 or 6 screens in 2 years or so, it was a section of m4 breaking up flicking stones everywhere

When they re did it properly I had no more. Became an expensive hobby
