It was indeed a F reg Granada 2.3L Ghia x (the one that looks like a Sierra from the front) , not seen one in years and was in very good condition.

My Dad had an E reg Granada although his was the 2.9i Ghia X.

Which I crashed. No damage but I managed to slide it sideways on ice coming down the hill from Nottingham into Grantham one day. Between two lamp posts and a sign where it stopped and I could drive it out again.

It was behind me for ~2 miles before I stopped at a red light to turn right whilst he went straight on.

I remember chasing a 2.8i round some twisty roads in my bubble Micra. Great fun.

Expect to get lots of moaning but I still think this was the last great Ford.
