I just realised yesterday after work that during the day some little t#*t had stolen the center cap from one of my alloys and left in its place a nice scratch from the tool. It's a pain in the arse and petty theft/vandalism really boils my piss. It's not expensive to replace but it's the principle of the thing.

What bits, if any have you had ripped off?

Last time I had anything nicked off my car was the black VW badge off the front of my MK1 Golf GTI back in the 80s.

Thanks again Beastie Boys smile

Spoiler, side skirts and wheel caps. Mk6 Fiesta ST, so probably to be expected given their relatively easy removal. Spoiler and side skirts now tiger sealed on. No ones getting those again!

The rubber sleeve from the indicator stalk of my TVR. I always remover the radio front when I park it but really didn't expect to lose part of the indicator stalk.

I lost three out of four wheel centre caps from my Alfa 156.

Of course, being an Alfa, I was never sure that they hadn't just fallen out...

The local paper is full of stories about Corsas being stripped overnight whilst outside your house, it is said that you can take a lot of the bodywork off the car without needing to open the doors and set off the alarm. perhaps you can with a lot of cars and 3 door Corsas are just the car of choice for the local scally.

A few years back now, went for an unexpected few beers after work so the car (pristine E36 328i M Sport Cabriolet) was left in a residential road near the station where it had been parked during the day.

Came to collect it the next day and had a nasty sinking feeling as I began to realise it was missing the bumpers, side skirts, door trims and, strangely, wing mirror glass.

That went through the insurance and the main dealer invoice was, IIRC, over £4k on a car that was probably worth £6-7 at the time.

I ran a Cavalier Turbo for a number of years, then parked it in the front garden with a view to use the engine in something else.

I left the doors unlocked so no-one would break in, then some scrote stole the rear leather seat.

3 (not 4) Black Chrome Mini dust caps stolen off the other half's car - just about sums up the mentality of the scrotes.

Had a basic towball cover stolen years ago but soon found a better one at the side of the road.

Both headlights and front grill were nicked off my Mk3 Escort Ghia back in the 1990's. I had only left it parked in the driving range carpark in Colnbrook for a couple of hours. Thieving bds.

My old Renault 5 GT Turbo had the spoiler and front indicators taken. All just pull off/out.
