From the BBC

"Others on the list include NO67 DAD, NO67 FUN, NO67 MUM, NO67 SON, NO67 SXY, NO67 TOY and NO67 YOB."

And

"NE67 ECT and OR67 SAM."

What are they even supposed to mean?

I always thought it was Steve Parish (superrbike rider) who owned this, but maybe the reg is PEN15 instead ?

Gov MoT & Vehicle enquiry both return unknown for both regs

At the risk of asking the obvious. What will they do when 69 plates are out?!

Seriously? I too was struggling with these when I saw it on the BBC and assumed someone here would make sense of it but it seems we're all in the dark on this. In the world of number plates isn't a 6 usually meant to mean a G as in B16 NOB or B16 BOB something?

40 years ago this was on a pink saloon (may have been a big Merc or something American) and lived on Stand-on-the-Green near Kew. Used to park outside The Crown.

Can't fathom many of these.

I still remember the story in the Daily Sport back in 1995 when the DVLA banned M1 NGE.

I can understand the ones in that Devonlive link, but am still head scratching for the offence in the NO67 plates.

All overly personalised plates look like "knob" to me.
