More cracked tyres.
Discussion
Hello there. I'm just after the opinion of some other interested people on my tyres.
They are Avon ZV7 XL manufactured in 2016 and fitted late 2016 early 2017. We noticed that back passenger side looked a little low and went on to find it at about 10psi.
These XL rated seem to hide low pressure quite well. I check my tyres every 2-3 weeks. I can't find any noticeable punctures and can't see any bubbles when pouring water yet it's going down. I have noticed that between the grooves the tyre is all cracked. I wondered if I had done this because of low pressure but the other side is exactly the same.
I should add the the Michelin pilot on the front which is at least a year older shows nothing like this. Your thoughts please. Are they safe ? This is one of my family cars and keeping it in tip top and safe mechanical condition is important to me. It's one of the reason I bought a reputable brand.
Thanks.
