What is this car part called anyone know???

i took my car for serivcie few months back and not the MPG has dropped i opened the air filter box and checked that, however i seen this pipe loose, i can't find anything on the internet VW POLO R-Line 1.2tsi 63 plate
anyone please help me pictures provided

one way valve? Part of the breather system possibly.
Technically known as a black rubber thing.

Its the crankcase breather hose and its sheared off at the engine end.
