Sale of PistonHeads to CarGurus completes

Hello PHers,

We've been thrilled to see so many of you being actively involved in the various discussions surrounding the news of our intent to purchase PH, which was announced in early December. The excitement has been tangible, and whilst it has been tempered with a healthy dose of scepticism, we truly believe that PH's best days are still to come

As such, we're pleased to announce that the deal has now completed and we have officially taken ownership of PH. Of course, we are eager to make an impact, but this is being balanced with an absolute focus on getting things right. With this in mind, please be patient and understand that won't be making huge, knee-jerk changes in the short term!

Here at CarGurus, we know that PH's success is almost entirely down to the heady combination of a fantastic community, enticing editorial and powerfully built company directors browsing the classifieds when they should be working. We are extremely excited about what the future holds, and we look forward to enjoying the journey with you all .

We'll keep you up to date with any news and announcements, but if anyone has any questions, then please ask away.

Will be get to see a who's who list of people working at PH under CG? (Old folk leaving, who is staying, etc, etc)

Will you be employing freelancers to create high quality articles/multi-media content?
